Practice for MGPC Scooter Cup's Racers and Marshals

The Macau Grand Prix Committee and the China-Macau Autosports Club today (19 Oct.) organised a briefing and a practice for the Marshals and for the MGPC Scooter Cup's Racers at the Kart Race Track in Coloane.

This is the first time that the MGPC Scooter Cup's Racers integrate in the Macau Grand Prix programme.

Professional and experienced Marshals of the China-Macau Autosports Club presided the briefings that took place in a whole day.

During the first part of the morning session, they presented the nature of the Marshals work, namely the meaning of each flag, important aspects and the work areas of each service involved. The second part was dedicated for practices and the Marshals had the opportunity to have better understanding on the work at the pits, paddock, paddle and starter, as well as the tasks during accidents and cleaning of the track.

The MGPC Scooter Cup's Racers had a briefing which enable them to strengthen their knowledge about the flags, security inside the circuit and other important matters. They also allowed to have practice and warm-up in the Kart Race Track.

At the end of the day the participants got to know the problems detected during the practice and the way to rectify it.
